From Nazareth to

Aix-en-Provence:  

Maazka's delicious story!

Maazka was born in 2018 in Aix-en-Provence, in the neighborhood of La Duranne, from a passion and a dream: that of Samer, a native of Nazareth, who grew up lulled by the captivating flavors of Palestinian family cuisine.
 
After a career in the legal field in the Paris region, he operates a total reconversion, taking with him his family to the south, where the sun of Aix-en-Provence would marry wonderfully the perfumes of his native land.
 
​The name Maazka, which means "how good" in Arabic, sums up the spirit of the restaurant: an authentic cuisine, inspired by recipes passed down from generation to generation, where each dish is prepared with fresh products and spices emblematic of Palestine, like zaatar or sumac.

Here, the culinary art is experienced as a journey, an invitation to discover or rediscover Levantine flavors, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

​In Maazka, the customer is not a simple visitor, but a guest. The caring welcome, attentive service and home cooking, generous and tasty, create an atmosphere where one feels at home.

Because sharing a meal is much more than eating: it’s celebrating life, traditions, and the joy of being together.
